Colour matching

Please note colour matching requires a 20mm sample of the surface area. Quotes for house painting costs are calculated on a per square metre basis. In most cases, this house painting cost estimation includes paints and all other supplies.

For the cost to paint house interiors, some factors considered include: whether surface preparation or repairs are required, architraves and trim, how many doors need to be painted, ceiling height, number of colours used, damage to walls, and decorative plaster.

Pricing options

• Option 1 – Per Room. Small project – bedroom – labour $625 (based on per square metre; subject to site review; does not include materials).
• Option 2 – Per square metre. Usually between $20–$45 per square metre, including one undercoat and two finishing coats.
• Option 3 – Hourly Rate. Standard rates $70 to $95 per hour, per worker.
